purple flags

there is red and purple flag flying today as well as yesterday. does anyone know what marine pests are present. thanks,ben

I believe they are for jellyfish - I saw some washed up on the beach Sunday evening.

we have seen several washed up portugese man'o'war. I asked a lifeguard at dune allen and he said that was what it was for.
