It's not a picture of the Moon, but it is a big@ss Moon-White-colored Mercedes in which the driver decided to drive really fast to get stuck at this point. Maybe they were just trying to get out to see the sunset.

Ladies and Gentleman, it is official -- Spring Break '07 is here! :clap_1:

You've got to hand it to the stud from Nashville...he dragged the hottie blonde he was with down to the surf to watch the sunset before he returned and summoned help getting unstuck:lol:

Yes, with five people pushing and a big @ss Ford pulling really hard, but I am sure that car now has sand all up in the engine compartment and floor boards.
:funn: I had a small 4 wheeler once and I almost didn't get out the sand.

Mango, the one I got to see at daybreak in 1985 showed the roundness of the moon, making it look like a planet out is space instead of a moon. Did it do the same for you tonight?

We had total cloud cover here till of course around 8 PM when we got a nice clear sky and bright moon.

Here is a link to other shots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mauroppp/409236446/

Yes, it looked like a planet I guess due to the darkening of the craters.
Reminded me of Mars.
Awesome pics BTW.:clap_1: Was that with a camera? or telescope camera?
I love the stars you got in there. Most excellent.

If I had used my tripod, :bang: I would have gotten a pic something as close to yours. :lie:
I did get to see it with the telescope too, and I watched it turn yellow/white gradually.

I couldn't believe that car made it out as far as it did- that sand is so deep! Did the beachcam capture this moment?
