Rumor Mill ??

[steel1man]

OK, this is what I heard this AM.. Source so/so..Rumor: Disney Corp. in talks to transform 500+ Arces in Bay County eastern PC in a Disney Amusement park .
Again something I heard,looking for confirmation ..

[Mike Jones]

If I had a nickel every time I heard that rumor I could start my own park.

Disney would be looking at something more like 20,000 acres.

500 acres would make a nice waterpark.

Disney owns a whole lot of property all over the state. They are getting into single resort projects like Vero and Hilton Head. For years they had two huge tracks north of Houston that they set on. I heard the same was true in Phoenix and Raleigh. Rumors.

Keep an eye on the going rate for that property. If Disney really is interested, the price will skyrocket. That's why Disney created a bunch of shell companies to buy the land in Buena Vista...so nobody would know. When the secret got out, the price of land went through the roof, but fortunately, they were all but done buying by then...

Again...rumors...very old rumors
