This just breaks my heart for you and your family.

I know how special a pet can be. Wish we could all be as sweet and kind as our pets. I just saw his picture and we were talking about what a cute puppy he was. We will be thinking about y'all.

I am so sorry for your loss. We are huge dog lovers, have 3 dogs currently. One is 9 years old, one 7 years old and one 2 years old. They are all our babies, they love each other and fight together, just like siblings. We had a cocker spaniel for 14 years, Michi, who we brought to Seaside with us to visit one vacation. Loved her sooo much. We had her picture painted on the wall at Grayton, and when she passed away, we had a halo and angel wings added. Now we can go see her picture all the time. The likeness is incredible. I think you can still have dogs added to the wall. Maybe you can have John's picture painted there.

JR - this is such sad news, and I'm so sorry for you and your family. It make me happy to think of John's life with you, how much he was loved, how much happiness he brought to your family, and how much care you all took of him til the end.
