Sitting here in lovely Kansas with five inches of snow!! We got a snow day so no school today!! Can't wait until Thursday, we are flying down to hang out at the beach for the weekend!!
My 6 year old wants to know if he can swim????

What is the weather looking like for the weekend in Santa Rosa Beach?

Wishing I was there right now, rain or not, it sure beats cold blustery wind and snow!!

I enjoyed the rainey morning, but the loud cracks of thunder and lightning, and I mean very very loud....caused me to cover up and slumber longer then I should have.

I was in the cafe watching the clouds over the Gulf and they looked so tornado like

But safe at home now...wishing you all a safe wet evening.

Bad storms this early a.m. and again around 4 - 6...tornado than went from Tuscaloosa to west Birmingham right by the clinic! After midnight is going all the way down to 23 degrees (sorry kdw I am on my laptop) tonight!!! WTF!!! Going to SoWal tomorrow...hopefully it will warm up!!!

We're at -16 and -35 with wind chill. I have to say that it's getting old, but at least it's sunny and not blizzarding!

Well that explains things......

I awoke to find a Creole Cottage had landed smack in the middle of the next door yard.

It landed right on my lesbian neighbor as she was going out to pick up the paper and I've been trying to pry those ruby Birkenstocks off her feet all morning..........

My ruby reds are Dansco's and I wear them alot...patent leather.... Great kitchen shoes!
