Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. it's the best in bluegrass.
Join Dennis Jones and Jerry McNeely this Saturday for a new release from Bluegrass legends Peter Rowan and Tony Rice!!! "Quartet" is the return of THE sound from Manzanita. It has many of the classic Rowan/Rice tunes spiffed up with new band mates Sharon Gilchrist and Bryn Davies. Indeed a top pick for disc of the year...in January no less. Also this week WNCW favorites, The Kenny and Amanda Smith Band. This is their first all Gospel release and it is fantastic. Powerful singing and award winning guitar work from one of today's premier touring groups frame this collection of wonderful uplifting songs. It's "Tell Someone"....our featured disc this week. Plus....Bill Monroe, Rhonda Vincent, Reno&Smiley, Mountain Heart, Flatt&Scruggs, JD Crowe...all on your flagship Bluegrass station...WNCW!!!
