Has anyone been catching the USA World Cup softball team in the tournament play? They have been kicking butt. They have scored 54 runs in 5 games to just 1 run scored against them. Amazing. They beat Japan last night 11-0 and have to play them again tonight for the championship. The game is on at 8:00 CST on ESPN2. They are the only undefeated team but yet if Japan wins, they obviously win the championship, regardless of the U.S. team having a 5-0 record and Japan a 4-1 record. I hope their bats will be swinging like in these other five games but unfortunately Japan is using their top speed pitcher who throws around 71mph but the U.S. is using their top ace also. GO USA.
