Yes, super wealth is consumed by greed. Are some humans really worth billions and other humans nothing? NO The inequity of income distribution has never ended well.

There is no Republicans party any longer.
I so wish that people will wake up before greed completely destroys Capitalism. When I took economics at FSU a long time ago I remember my professor warning about monopolization. He was concerned that monopolization would reduce competition, negatively effect supply and demand distribution and eventually lead to mega corporations that control too much of the pie. He was also concerned how policy makers would be affected by these mega corporations. Over 40 years later and every one of those concerns have come true. I know you believe that Trump is a good businessman and is good for our economy but his policies are really bad for our economy in the long term and even in the short term. All you have to do is follow those tax cuts and follow the deficit. You should also follow our social programs like social security and medicare that we the people have paid into (earned). Those programs should be expanded but instead his policies will weaken them severely. The stock market is a like a big Casino. Only a few will win and many will lose. Unfortunately many States and individuals have their retirements wrapped up in the stock market so it is a big problem when it drops. Civil unrest can cause it to drop. Trump's rhetoric creates civil unrest. A divided America with civil unrest is bad for America and really bad for our economy. A divided America starts at the top and trickles down. Biden is the leader we need right now. Four more years of Trump and the fighting between democrats and republicans will intensify, civil unrest intensifies, medicare and social security will be in big trouble, income inequality will grow, gender inequality will grow, racial inequality will intensify and on and on. Biden may or may not be a two term President but he is what America needs for the next four years! Almost four years ago Trump supporters told me how much better this country would be with Trump. Do you think we are a better Country? Biden will not tolerate violent protesting, will strengthen social security and medicare, strengthen our healthcare, will not take away our guns or religion or property rights and most of all will help heal the division in America. In four years under Biden, America will be Better than it is today. I believe we will all be more willing to share our good fortunes like our beaches, public lands that under Trump are turning private and even be more willing to accept higher taxes on the super wealth. Trust my economic professor at FSU nothing good comes out of income inequality, reduced competition, businesses that are too big to fail and a weaker middle class. Trust your instincts not the words coming out of anyone who uses divisive rhetoric.

I think you mean well, but everything you said has been known by progressives/liberals for 30 years. The re-distribution of wealth to the upper 1% has been a continuing REPUBLICAN program for as long as I can remember. The financial crash of 2007 was completely caused by predatory lending to the lower economic classes and undue tax burden on the middle class, because of the tax cuts for the rich. This has been a Republican scheme. If you remember, the VERY FIRST piece of legislation coming out of the Trump Administration was A TAX CUT FOR THE RICH. Our economy only works successfully when the middle class has enough money to purchase goods and services to keep the wheels moving. The rank and file Republicans in this country need to wake up to the fact that you are being duped by the 1% and you have been for decades.
I think you mean well also and these are the issues that we need to focus on if we want republicans to wake up. Trashing Trump and the republicans will not get us where we need to go. If it did then there would have been more movement in the polling over the last year. I understand the urge but we have to see a much bigger picture than "Trump is terrible and therefore Trump supporters are all terrible". This is important because many Trump supporters shut down when they feel insulted. Please do not write them off just yet! Eventually they will understand that the boat they swam out to is sinking leaving them unsafe and cold...and a better boat is on it's way. THE BIDEN will provide safety and equality and civility. The Biden will also provide fresh MOJOE which is a feeling of hope and peace and opportunity. We are about to vote in one of the most meaningful elections that our generation will ever face. It is time for republicans to sink or swim...

You are at least 20 years too late. If you haven't seen this coming well before the Trump Administration, then you do not have a grasp of politics and/or economics. That is what is go frustrating to some of my colleagues. The average Trump supporter does not seem to employ critical thinking, so trying to explain complex issues to them, doesn't work. Their brains are shut down. They only see red. They only see hatred of Democrats. They WANT simplicity: us versus them.

I understand them and I understand you. It is true that some do not want to employ critical thinking and some just shut it down because of all the personal attacks and stick with simplicity. I know many Trump supporters who are as you say but there is a growing number who are tired of being so divided from their neighbors, their friends and their family that they are starting to open their eyes. Another problem is that now that Trump has deployed the weapons of hate destruction there will be others that follow him unless this is a decisive victory for Biden. Now is the time to nip it in the bud as Barney would say. It is never too late. I am sorry that what has happened over the last 20 years has made you so bitter that you have to attack people including me but I have been around a block or two in politics and economics and I am a very social person. You just do not know me or these people you attack. I have thick skin but many people are not able to take the insults. If they go low we go high remember?
