Of course I understand the balance of powers.
The Commander in Chief has authority over the military. Congress' only power as it relates to the military is to vote yea or nay when POTUS asks to go to war (doesn't happen anymore, Blue or Red) OR Congress approves monies (appropriations) as presented to them in the budget presented by the Executive Branch. Yes, there are "Oversight Committees" but they are relatively toothless and just an opportunity for a Rep or Senator to get on TV.
POTUS can order all nukes launched tonight and Congress can't do a thing about it.

Although I'm no fan of Fox (I sold my TVs a year and half ago), Fox posted an apology. That, Poppa, is why I am providing the content of the hyperlink. You were posting this as if Fox was blasting that RBG is dead, which they did, but this link is pointing out that they acknowledged the mistake and recanted it. UNLIKE Buzzfeed, CNN, and the rest of the left sources.
It's a little comical that the left has to resort to half truths and deception to try and make a point. But ultimately, you just feel sorry for them.
