I watched the debate. No bourbon. Biden did not do well. Trump is a bully. Chris Wallace is a fighter.

Chris Wallace came off as weak and ineffective. He let Trump push him around. Biden could have been stronger, but he put to rest issues of his cognitve ability.

I watched the entire debate. Plenty of bourbon. Biden did excellent. Trump was completely Trump. What more can you ask for?

I dont agree that Biden did excellent, but I'm not sure he had to. I don't see how Trump helped himself, and he really needed to.

I have debated with Trump supporters for the last 4 years. They will say that Trump eat Biden's lunch. Trump will not lose votes from the debate and he will not gain any votes from the debate. Biden may lose a few but not enough to be a factor. I hope!

The post debate talk, fact-checking, and political ads can make a big difference. Obama's first debate with Romney was really weak. It looked like Obama was befuddled by Romney's flip-flopping on positions. Also, Obama came across as just plain tired. The post debate aftermath I think might have actually helped him. I certainly didn't want to see Biden engaging in a constant barrage of rude interruption like Trump, but Trump's supporters love that sort of thing. If these debates are not moderated differently, then the playing field is not level.

It was an major embarrassment. Everybody says that. Just my opinion, but, shouldn't the incumbent president, (whomever he is, or is not), set the tone for the ensuing debates? I doubt that Obama, or Bush. or Clinton, or Bush, or Clinton, or Reagan, or Carter, or Nixon, or Kennedy, or Eisenhower would ever bring up a complete conspiracy theory about the validity of the upcoming elections. You know who might do that? Russia.

The debate was as I expected. Pure entertainment. No voters swayed. A damn good "old school" SNL skit. 2 old fucks engaged in an elementary schoolyard tussle. I was waiting to hear "I know you are but what am I?!" or "Your're rubber and I'm glue.... "
