What are you doing on the eve of the new year???

New posts
I've decided. we're going to the beach on this gorgeous day, score some appalach oysters, then home to have some dinner, play uno, and eat cheese doritoes til midnight. and watch football. and the big ball drop in NYC.

mangy - chianti and root beer???? and you kids drank it? how funny! wonder if it was spiked with benadryl.

spidey is determined to stay up til midnight and beyond. fine with me. I'll give it a try.

Most excellent plan! Let us know if spidey makes it to midnight! Actually, let us know if his parents make it!

Ooops, not root beer- that is nasty. I meant cream soda and chianti. Yes, it tasted good when I was a kid. Just a little chianti, though.

I'm going to a big house par-tay at my sisters. There will be a house full of loony adults and adorable kids. Apparently, there is soooo much food that I don't need to make a thing. Just bring lots of champagne. My kind of New Years.

Toots, when I was a kid my parents gave us chianti mixed with root beer. I know it sounds like clamato, but it actually is pretty good and it knocked us out earlier.

:floor:

going to WC...bought the tickets this morning from some nice girl who gave us a tour...still don't know what I'm wearing....i don't have any purple and blue feathers

...maybe we can meet! Don't fret about your attire, but if you want to add something festive, Big Mama's Hula Gallery on 283 had some most excellent cocktail hats with feathers!

I was running around all day. Didn't have a chance. I also didn't want to impose, uninvited. I understand the need to just relax when you come to the beach.;-)

Not a good enough excuse. Surprise friends at the door are the best!

Relax at the beach? :floor:SJ...I have been hanging with Mermy!

:lolabove:...oh, yeah...that sounds MUCH better!

We are cooking an early dinner, watching the Georgia Tech game, the two young folks are going out, and Big D and I are going to hang out at home. Then some sparklers and champagne at midnight.

Don't worry, Miss Kitty will be rediculously easy to spot. Just look for the girl who is lit up.

What if you have large feet and forgot socks?

I hear ya. That Mermy is a bundle of energy. If y'all need to get some "a$$ time," stop by here. We are still in pj's.

:yikes: Had to read that again. For a second I thought your NYE plans included car keys and a fish bowl. :floor:
