Usually a trail run 3 - 5 miles, Mtn bike 10 - 15 miles, paddle 1..5 - 3 miles, "mystery events" (puzzles, obstacle course, etc...), orienteering, some swimming. You have to carry required gear, hit certain check points where they check your gear, the team has to stay together. Some more advanced courses have climbing and rapelling. And then there is the after party
