I watched the video, but I don't recall it being so "hate" oriented. Without trying to understand opposing views, how can we have a real opinion?skunky, you didn't watch the video, did you?

jelly bean. don't let us scare you off. your post is interesting. we can all learn from something like that. like, how hate, fear and bigotry effects our society, politics and wars. I wonder who developed this content? it stinks of the current administration. peee-ewww!!
The idea of not watching the video reminds me of the time when Southern Baptist Leaders telling their preachers to tell the congregations to protest the movie, "The Last Temptation of Christ." My question what head honcho in the Southern Baptist Convention actually watched the film in order to have this opinion? Probably no one.
Yes, this video clip has a slant, and you will probably not like it, but it may present new ideas to an opposing opinion, which makes you ask a new question, and perhaps end up opening questions regarding war from the other side. You never know, and without opposing viewpoints and the attempt to understand others points of view, we will never grow.
Tootsie, I am not pointing fingers at you. Writing this makes me also question my on quick snap reactions to others' view points, so as much as anything, I am looking in the mirror. ;-) I keep forgetting that Dale Carnegie rule: "First seek to understand, then be understood."
