Turnabout Dance Question

That is so cool!

My sister is 14 years older than me and she's like a mother to me and a grandmother to my son! A very giving, loving person. I feel so very lucky to have her. She's really all I have left in my family.

Isn't that wonderful. I'm 13 years older than my brother. We have that same relationship, like a sister/mother thing going on. We vacation together and he stepped into a role of trying to take care of me after my divorce. He's wonderful what else can I say. His daughters are like my own kids. Funny too, I was 13 when he was born, he was 13 when my daughter was born, and my daughter was 13 his daughter was born.

would you guys believe my sister and i have never, ever fought ? we have never even passed harsh words between us. i would be crushed if my sister ever got mad at me. barring her hatefulness during both pregnancies of course ;-)

I wish I had that relationship with all my sisters. I have 3 sisters and I'm only really close with one. I don't fight with the others, but we aren't close either. I always wished my daughter had sisters. Not her, she is crazy about her brother. She always was. When he moved away I worried more about her than him. She was a wreck. He is her first memory and her best friend. They did everthing together. She even gave up a scholarship because she wanted to be closer to home for his senior year activities. She was the one taking all the pictures on his prom night. He gave her away on her wedding day. I loved your story of your sister on her first day home, it reminded me of Beth and Drew. It never went away, she mothers him even today. She said he's the best gift I ever gave her. I have made myself all teary, how silly am I????

And me too. I was blessed with a brother and a sister. I wish I could say that we never fought, lord, eek: , my bro was very ornery. My sis is 5 years younger and she was just an annoyance to me growing up. Stealing my clothes, hanging around when I had friends over, and anything else just to get a rise out of me or get me in trouble. I am the middle child and always played the mediator. I love them both dearly and am probably closer to my sister now. ( Jackson and Delaney's mom) I just found out my brother is most likely moving to N. Carolina . :( He has always been 10-20 minutes away and I'm not sure how I'm going to feel if he moves. Even though I'm grown and married, I've always felt like he would protect me from anything. He scared all the boogie men away when we were little and he also scared a few away when I was dating. It does make me sad to know that Sam won't have a sister and Dylan won't have a brother but I guess they don't know what they're missing right? They rarely fight. Just last week in sunday school, Dylan was supposed to make a thank you card for someone and he made it to his sister. ...Thanks for being nice to me sometimes. It had candy attached to it so I was really impressed that it even made it to his sister.

Someone needs to move.

I think I mentioned in another post a while ago, that I got to share a womb and a room with my twin sister. We are very close and lucky enough to live pretty close to each other.
