That is so cool!
My sister is 14 years older than me and she's like a mother to me and a grandmother to my son! A very giving, loving person. I feel so very lucky to have her. She's really all I have left in my family.![]()
Isn't that wonderful. I'm 13 years older than my brother. We have that same relationship, like a sister/mother thing going on. We vacation together and he stepped into a role of trying to take care of me after my divorce. He's wonderful what else can I say. His daughters are like my own kids.
Funny too, I was 13 when he was born, he was 13 when my daughter was born, and my daughter was 13 his daughter was born.
He has always been 10-20 minutes away and I'm not sure how I'm going to feel if he moves. Even though I'm grown and married, I've always felt like he would protect me from anything. He scared all the boogie men away when we were little and he also scared a few away when I was dating.
It does make me sad to know that Sam won't have a sister and Dylan won't have a brother but I guess they don't know what they're missing right? They rarely fight. Just last week in sunday school, Dylan was supposed to make a thank you card for someone and he made it to his sister. ...Thanks for being nice to me sometimes.
