How about we hear from a house painting contractor and how Illegal Immigration has affected him.
With SoWal booming again, we have undocumented obvious south-of-the-border people present. I have friends in outdoor services, house building related sub contracting, and on that have to compete with guys who undercut them, that are not licensed, and are not paying corporate taxes that the resident guys are.
I do not have an issue with someone or a family wanting to improve their lives, but the US has a legal path to first get their Permanent Resident Card (green card), which can take up to a year and then go on to become a naturalized citizen. I have had a family member go through this whole process. By the way, if you ever have a chance to go to a naturalization ceremony over in Pensacola, do it. It is a profoundly moving event that will make you love America even more.
We have laws in this country. Someone who disregards the law and enters our country and takes work away from legal residents needs to be exited from the country and never be allowed here again. Do you disagree with this?
