You know just let society work out the problems with criminals and other countries. No wonder fear and panic works for Trump! If the democratic party does not understand why people vote for Trump then they have become so elite in their beliefs they may never really connect with Trumps base. In my opinion I do not believe the democrats care about connecting to anyone in Trumps base. The people fear socialism and communism like in Cuba, Russia, Venezuela etc. Hispanics fear. Americans fear. African Americans fear. They also fear being attacked by criminals, Antifia and riot violence. I think Biden/Harris are doing everything right so far but their supporters are dropping the ball. I promise I am not picking on Poppaj or Lotb but they do represent a mindset of a liberal elite group who believe that the democratic party has ALL the right answers to a Better America. Neither Biden or Harris are in that group in my opinion. I believe Biden is trying to connect with Trump supporters and doing every thing he can but that liberal elite group is determined to attack not just Trump but about half of the people in this country. If I thought that liberal ideals would fix all our problems in society I would be the one flying that flag but it doesn't. People are complex. We are producers and consumers. We are good and bad. We need to feel safe and represented. We need to be progressive and conservative. This election should be a landslide for Biden but it will not be because we are a complex species. The two party system gives us a choice between progressive ideals and conservative ideals yet we the people are both. Whatever party can manipulate fear and panic generally wins. Don't make it so easy for Trump. Stop attacking the character of Trump supporters. Why do all this back and forth? Trump is a terrible leader and has bad character. We got it!!! Do liberal elites think they could all be President because that is how you come across. Many of you are not sold on Biden running this country either. Is it even possible for you to connect to anyone but those that think just like you? I think the two party system has created an inevitable problem with division in this country and Trump is going to manipulate it to no limits. You are making it too easy for Donald Trump and all his enthusiastic supporters. This thread and others seems to focus on disrespect for both Trump and Trump supporters. That is a mistake in my opinion because it just brings out negative behavior in people. I believe you are playing with fire and need to learn how to be respectful even when hiding behind a computer and using fake names. As Poppaj would say this is too many words trying to say be more respectful and good things will happen :)

Playing in the dirt is great. Playing in the mud with weapons of hate destruction is not so great. A serious division exist in our communities because of the power of politics and it threatens our democracy. It is "we the people" not "me the people". Donald Trump has deployed the weapons of hate destruction between democrats and republicans. Republicans surprised me with their willingness and eagerness to follow that that path of hate. Democrats are surprising me with their willingness and eagerness to follow that path of hate. Democrats demand change which is long over due but violence and destruction has crept into the formula. Republicans have abused their power to no limits. Both sides of this divide have turned a blind eye to the weapons of hate and destruction. I noticed it on this forum a long time ago. I consider Sowal.com to be a community of people who care about each other first. There will be a day where that caring is very important as climate change will bring hurricanes, tornadoes, sea level rise and fires to our community. Yes, we must have a path toward social change but the formula must include respect and caring. Some of you including Jensky does not seem to get it. Posting hate is not great and only serves to irritate. If you want to play in the mud fine just leave the sharp objects in the tool chest.

I know that you have a good point in that well the other side plays with fire so I have to play with fire. I get that and I have that mentality also but I am older and wiser now and know that playing with fire will get you burned. There is a Better way. I think Biden/Harris will show you how to be respectful and demanding at the same time. I am very impressed with their message. I know how frustrating people can be who support a man like Donald Trump. I think I understand them though. The propaganda of fear is a disease and the only prescription to cure it is love and respect. Demand change. Be united behind the only prescription known to man that cures hate. You call my message BS. I call your message a Trump move. One of us is blind...
 
People who hate people should bring tears to our eyes. Politics is a game of trick mirrors. The only way to not get tricked is to not play the game. The only people not tricked are those who stay in the realities of life (productivity, family, friends, community). I try not to blame all our problems on politics because I would have no time for reality :)
