How thank you LL, for that visual...I really needed that. :( I do see your point however, but the visual is just awful !!!!!!!

Like Oprah and her wagon full of fat - LOL

Regardless, good for you kathydwells - your dedication encourages me to stick with a program!

I started South Beach a year ago on the 9th of this month. So far I have lost 49 lbs. I went a little over the edge during the holiday's and just started back yesterday getting serious again. I only gained back 4 lbs though, so that is not bad. It is a lifestyle change for me and it is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I still need to loose about 25 lbs. I have a Bowflex and started back with my workouts last night. We can all do this. A good support group helps. Good to luck to all of us!!!!
Congrats KDW :clap_1: You must really have will power. Since you have been on this for a year, it really is not a diet to you but a healthy way to eat. Keep up the good work.

I listen to nbc on the radio in the mornings and they were talking about people taking horse medicine for weight loss. There's a good idea.

It hasn't alway's been easy I will tell you. However, after the first 10lbs were gone, it just motivated me to stick with it. Basically, all I have done is..cut out all sugar, white flour, white bread, white rice, potatoes (which by the way I could live off of, and I haven't had any except sweet potatoes, in a year). I do not eat any processed meats. I know for some people it is all in moderation and you should be able to eat anything you want. However, I was a carboholic. I have learned that I can live without all the bad one's, and still eat as many as I want of the good one's and loose weight. Exercise is a key factor also. You have to burn any of the calories that you eat, plus it just make's you feel better. It is a lifestyle change for me. I never thought I could do it, but we all can. You have to want it real bad, and try real hard not to get discouraged. I knew I was not going to loose all this weight over night. I knew it would take me a while. So don't expect overnight results and you won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen. Hang in there!!!!

It was interesting. Down side--rapid heart rate Up side--fat loss, with increased muscle mass. You would be surprised at the number of medications that are given to animals (at a fraction of the cost I might add) that are virtually the same medication that is given to humans.

Man I was kidding. There was a kid living next door to me when I was at Auburn who was taking Ketamine on a regular basis.

Oh we used to take Stackers and Xendarine in college. That was great before they yanked ephedrine.

But Ketamine is for a HORSE. I agree about Xenadrine. It kept me up studying many a night. They still sell ephedrine in montgomery. It's all over the place.
