Grrrrrrr!!

New posts
I just pulled Sam's iPod out of the washing machine. I picked up her shorts and added them to the load w/out checking the pockets. :bang: It's been a heck of a week. She had cheerleading clinics and tryouts along with her dance and she has rehearsals all weekend. I can't even be mad at her because it's mostly my fault. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: Last summer I took it to the pool and it got a little damp and stopped working. It was still under warranty so I had it replaced. Now we're screwed. :pissed:

LET IT DRY OUT. Don't try to turn it on until then.

I did the same thing with my little iPod shuffle last fall. (It's a less complicated device, but I'm an optimist.) I sat it on one of those thirstystone coasters with the headphone jack facing down, and the next day it worked fine. Try it, at least.

Hey, yeah, and then she could listen to all the old cassettes ...Flock of Seagulls, Wham, and Boy George...I'm sure she'd love it....probably start a new trend.

Yeah....my daughter was listening to music on her computer and told me I had to hear this cool group she just found....Journey.

I laughed outloud and told her they were from my era. Loved their music then and still do.

I was thinking Van Halen :idontno:

I've still got the UNUSED ticket to that show, since my mom wouldn't let me go!

listened to Stone in Love this afternoon

I LOVE YOU PEOPLE! On my iPod (the one I washed) we have the Van Halens (both Roth and Hagar,) Journey (including Stone in Love,) Police, Kiss, .38 Special, Cheap Trick, Loverboy, Foreigner, Boston...

 Oh that makes me feel so much better!

The thing is, she had the shorts on after school, I picked her up and she had to change into cheer clothes, she put those in a bag and then went to dance after cheer and didn't get home until 9:00 then had homework for 2 hours. It was a 15 hour day for a 13 year old. I took the shorts out of the bag to wash them and didn't check the pockets.

No violin please:biggrin: I just need to vent!!! This is her most prized possession in the world.

I hear Miss Kitty has one that has not even been used on a Sunday drive. Has 1 song on it (I'll bet it's "Waltzing Matilda :funn:) I'd make her a BO and see how it goes. :idontno:

Oh, I'm gonna try it. Who knows :idontno: I'll keep ya posted.

I feel your pain...Usually it's my cell phone that gets drowned or smashed under a stack of roofing or dropped from a tree.

Good luck!
