I think one of the five stages should be chocolate.

Which reminds me, I have a chocolate chip cookie in my purse, left over from our trip to Moe's for dinner. Not sure how well it will go with the very stiff drink I'm having (forget that tea stuff) but I'm going to go get it right now. :clap_1:

You guys are making my night!
It's funny--it's helping, isn't it?
(And I didn't mean this :drink:)

Pea baby, it is OK to need some "me" time!!!!!!

Yes -- it is so nice to know that one day, when I am driving Katie to band camp at 6:30 a.m., I will be able to look back at this wistfully. The only reason I believe this is because the SoWallers tell me so.

I feel sorry for the little motor mouth, I was the biggest talker in class all through school. I will NEVER forget my first week of school . . . it was spent with me standing with my nose in the corner of the classroom.:( I became very proficient using 3 pencils to write-off 300 times, "I must not talk in class."

I understand....I was "moved" every Monday. No matter where I sat, I still talked. I wonder how some of my teachers survived me!

All I can say is think 4 little words....This too will pass!

Sorry....not too comforting...but that's what I was always told.
God Bless you!!!!

I just bottle fed 5 puppies....I know how you feel. I told my family if anyone woke even one up to hold and cuddle with them I was going to strangle them and they would be feeding them at 3:00 this morning. I've been through the children....I did it twice. There is 17 years between my daughters....

That's my LiL KittyKat tar Kalie trying to take her Mom's place!

No need making it easy on them. My mother & dad would get so mad at me, I made straight As except in conduct . . . Bs and Cs:eek:

I relate to everything that has been said and then some. Not the best day for me--spent the a.m. with a sick baby at the Dr.'s and toting a 2-yr-old along to boot. Started feeling sick myself just a few hours before the other three got home from school--then piano lessons, homework, cooked dinner (I made them do the dishes!), folded laundry (lots more to go), put everyone to bed FINALLY (hubby was in and out with work and church obligations so was no help) and almost forgot to watch the finale of Top Chef (turned it on 20 minutes into it.)

Now I've had time to reflect and realize how many kisses I didn't have time to give and how many times I answered a questioned with an annoyed tone in my voice, when I could have been much more patient and much sweeter.

Our good friends in St. Louis lost their 13-yr-old son Saturday night. Totally unexpected and devastating. The funeral was tonight. Motherhood is exhausting and frequently annoying, but I feel so blessed tonight to have all 5 of my children tucked in bed safe and sound. When I found out about Ford's death, I made a promise to myself that I would try harder to appreciate my children, because every day counts. All the exhaustion from raising 5 kids is worth the love that they give back in return.
