Latest trends in pedicures......

I've been paying 25 in destin plus tip and I always use OPI. I go really bright and bold in the summer on my toes and then keep my fingers really pale/light or regular shade. Right now I have on the "not really a waitress" color that someone else mentioned earlier!

So it looks like prices for mannies and peddies are pretty well standard and we all go to those little Vietnamese shops in lieu of the fancy spas. Birds of a feather flock together! :clap_1:

Tatertot, where's the place in Destin? I'm thinking that that might be a good thing to know about if you have a teenage daughter and it's a rainy day at the beach. Just in case.

Here here!!! :clap_1: The girl I go to does very fine work, I can get a fill and a pedicure for: $25.00 fill, pedicure $18.00. They do a really nice job. Not fancy, but I have been going to her for over 5 years. I don't think I would got to anyone else!

would you believe i have never had a pedicure ? i can't hardly stand for anyone to touch my feet, they are soooo ticklish. it even tickles when i rub lotion on them.

Pedis are $27 here at my little place. Not sure about manis- only have about 1 a year (and it shows) 'cause I am so hard on my hands. Kate is usually with me, so for being a good girl and sitting in my lap, she gets a $5 pedi, which makes her happy for days, then we go to the Chinese restaurant next door and get noodles.

How is our Princess Kate these days?

Princess Kate is 2 children rolled into one. This week at school, she won the "Friend Leader" award for playing with a little girl that no one else wanted to play with (I wouldn't want to either, quite frankly- the kid is a brat). Anyway, the teacher asked Kate and her friends to play with this child, and Kate was the only one that would do it. I was pretty proud....

Then at home it is a different story. I had to threaten to call Super Nanny at least 5 times this week! Arghhhh!!! I don't think I will be able to call on Super Nanny when Kate is in high school- I'm worried about that!

Timely subject as Fyl and I just did the mother-daughter thing and got a manicure and pedicure. I got OPI Pagoda Pink on my nails. Very springy! BTW, what do they cost where you are? We spent $79 for the two of us; is that about average? That's what it usually is for us give or take $10 or so.

Oh Mermaid I LOVE doing this with my daughter. We always look forward to it. That sounds like a good price for both mani and pedi for 2. Hope you had funn!

I did that all last summer. Loved it! It looks great with tanned toes. My daughter said she heard it was "out" this year. I think she read it in a magazine last week as they did her toes in the french mani. She doesn't believe everything she reads. We're in KY so if it's out of style we won't know it until next season. That's our story and we're sticking to it!
