oops! outside lights on trees still up. every weekend's been too yucky--at least that's my excuse.

Add some hearts to your tree!

back to the toilet paper issue - i know you won't believe this, but i sometimes take the paper off the roll and set it on the vanity just to irritate mr audie.:D
you are so evil:twisted:
I think every mother on earth has had that happen to her, except it's crayons instead of lip balm. :floor:
for me it was chewing gum.....

I don't know about your neighbors, but my general rule of thumb is that Christmas absolutely must be dismantled before Good Friday. Think of it: it would be heartless to have items that celebrate Jesus' birth still hanging around on the day He is crucified. It makes sense to me and I bet it does to them.
I agree.

Christmas decoration update -
I had to run a few errands tonight (before the big snow storm!) and I counted FOUR houses lit to the hilt with Christmas lights & major decorations. Outside, not inside. (I don't think anyone cares about inside someone's house anyway.) One house still has the manger, with a blue spot light shining down from the "star" from the peak of their roof! :rolling:

How could someone just quit a job without notice?!!! :idontno: how do you live with yourself?! just call in with a migraine and never come back in! I have decided to just work all by myself! :bang:

LOL - It took me awhile to get all the indoor decorations down, but I quit turning them on about a week after Xmas. One of my friends couldn't believe it took me til almost the end of January to ultimately get them put away (but then again, I have had a lot on my plate lately!)

We had enough nice weather in early January for the outdoor decorations to come down - but I agree - if you haven't taken them down, just quit turning them on. A lot of towns even have ordinances for this now![/quote

OK that's it. I'm keeping me dam* lights up AND ON until next Christmas.

Y'all are wearing me out.

mr. dd took ours down today!:clap_1:

LOL - I didn't think ANYONE left their lights up longer than me!!!

I've decided to be the poster child for holiday light excess. If it makes me happy, well then , the lights will stay on. I can lie in bed and look out the window at my multi-colored bulbs- it is reassuring.

You go gull. My outside was down a long time ago oly because it was really warm here. BUT, I left the interior pine with lights on inside around the french doors, and it makes me happy to see some green especially in February, the dreariest month of the year.
