No, and it is just 10 miles from here. Kentucky Lake is big, so there are several different areas to choose. Hubby and son don't boat or fish, so I am more familiar with golf courses. Barkley Lake (part of KY Lake) is really pretty and the lodge is very nice there. You should come down.

KY Lake is where I bought my last (and current) boat. Test drove on that lake. Dam that's a big lake. Well over 100' deep  . Very pretty.
that is freekin' deep!!!! wow!!!!! Is it natural?? I would guess so...most of the lakes I have been around are man made...Lanier in Atlanta and Murray here in Columbia

It is big. I get lost everytime I am out on the pontoon with my sister and her family. If you are ever back in this part of the state, let me know. By the way, is the boat everything you thought it would be?

Not natural. Dammed up for power generation. Guy I was buying the boat from said the lake drops (I think) 30'+ every year.
thats alot of water loss.....30 feet??? it would be dried up by now?? :idontno:

As I said before we do plan on towing up to Dale Hollow. KY Lake looks just as good to me.

Yes the boat has been great. I bought a 2002 Chaparral 243 from a guy that owns a small "resort" on the lake. The Chap fits all our needs I would like something faster.

Chaparral I bought:

One was a gift ;-)

And you are in trouble. Well not really...you're ok. If you were out taking pictures, you can get away with not answering the phone. But just know the can of worms you have opened now that Jfunn, Darlene and I have your number! :funn:

As for camping...never really was my thing. But my friends want to go camping up in Vermont or something. Brrr.
I was really taking photos. Go look.

THat is one nice boat. So you are into the speed part of boating? No big house boat for you to cruise around in?
