Beach Fanatic
Even though I'm negatively bouyant when swimming, I believe the salt air must be condusive to endorphin production. One of the few things I will never become jaded about is that first panoramic view of the beach after a long absence.

Pompano must be getting close. The humidity is fairly high, and yesterday was a day of mist and rain. Temps are in the low 70's when the sun shines, and drops down into the low 60's at night. Today is overcast this morning and we have some more wind. People are everywhere, and the busy week of Spring Break has yet to arrive. Publix's chip, bread, and milk sections looked stripped clean. Some signs of college kids, grouped togethered in clusters of 20 people on the beach here and there. There are plenty of high-schoolers running around 30A as well. The waiting line at Pickle's in Seaside is a steady 20 people deep, even at 2:30pm. I cannot wait until tomorrow for an even busier week. Did I mention that traffic around Seaside is a nightmare? It is. Destin traffic is not too sweet either, but nothing like the summertime. Yesterday, under that red flag, the surf was bumping up to the edge of some of the imported sand placed in front of seawalls down in Blue Mtn Beach.
Freakin' worthless.
