Spring Screening

Coppertone actually has a wonderful product, spray-on sunscreen. My lily white rump has been out all day using this stuff and I didn't burn. Very easy to use and spares the hands from the goop. You will still need to go 'old school' on your face, however:biggrin:

we discovered this last year skunky - it is a good product - unfortunately no one around here carries it anymore. i'm hoping i can find some at publix.....

Audie, I've seen the Coppertone continuous spray (spf 30) in CVS, Walgreens and Target around here. If you don't have any in your town, you can easily pick some up on the trip down to SoWal. The stuff is amazing. My only complaint is that it gets used up so quickly, much more so than a bottle of lotion sunscreen. But the convenience is something else!

That's fo sho Mermy, we went through a bottle in 2 days at the beach. I bought a 15 and a 30. It is sooo convenient though. Publix has very reasonable prices on sunscreen, about the same as our Target.

Dr Skunky, does the number really matter? I had once heard that anything over 30 was all the same. Using 30 at the beach didn't even allow a tan to sneak in. I started using the 15 on the kiddos at the end of the week b/c they weren't tanning at all with the 30. We wanted a little color upon our return to dreary old Ohio!

I like your idea BR but you should always apply sunscreen at least 15 minutes before outdoor exposure. ;-) I used the indoor spray on tan once. It worked pretty well.

Oh, but don't bother with the Coppertone spray on...it's very easy to get streaky.

I used SPF 30 & 45 last week & came home with a nice tan! It must of been sunnier in Dune Allen Beach!

I knew I shoulda stopped in to visit you. ;-) I was so worried about the kids burning that they got an extra good covering. I did come back with a very nice base tan. Now if the darn temps would rise and the sun would come out I could try to keep it. Safe travels to Ohio this weekend! Sorry but the weather gods did not listen to me.

The weather gods must be on strike. I would be happy with cold temps & some sun at this point. I am not looking forward to driving through the rain/snow/wind. :bang:
