My sister is 14 years older than me and she's like a mother to me and a grandmother to my son! A very giving, loving person. I feel so very lucky to have her. She's really all I have left in my family.
That's what my sister used to say about me. Said she used to love to change my diapers; couldn't wait for me to wake up from naps. Believe me, my mother took full advantage of her!!
when we got married we paid for everything ourselves, except for my pop paid for the reception where we had a buffet supper. i couldn't let them pay for my wedding after just putting me thru college....
my sister on the other hand had a big extravaganza.....i bought her wedding dress for her, and honest to goodness i paid more for her dress than my whole entire wedding cost including the reception. but whatever my sis wants, i get her

when they brought my sister home, mom laid her on the couch, and told me to keep an eye on her while mom hung her coat up, by the time she got back from the hall closet i had my sister in my arms... i would get mad if mom tried to bathe her or anything - she was mine !
me either ! my dad's youngest brother is only 8 years older than me and we fought (and still fight) like cats and dogs. i was afraid it would be the same with a sibling, but it was love at first sight for me
