The woman can kill the fetus without consulting the father, she can kill the fetus even if the father objects, even if the father sues her to allow for the unborn child to be born. Yet, we are all familiar that once a child has been born, a woman can sue for support and the father will have to pay support until the child is 18. Actually Bernie helped elevate some important discussions and debate on issues that are relevant to the people during his campaign. I'm not Bernie gal but I definitely appreciate his contributions....

The trickle down tax cuts are a scam on all of us. It's time for progress. #MAGA isn't working out so well for most people unless you are a proud white supremacist who appreciates the boost.

I am as far from being a "white supremacist" as one can be but I have benefited in some ways in the last two years. For one, I don't have to pay for medical services I don't need or will ever use courtesy of Barry's ACA.

Actually once I learned the facts behind that quote, there is nothing disturbing or shocking about it at all. This illustrates the misrepresentation of facts that the right is famous for. That's why I think a separate thread makes sense. I for one don't need need to be dragged down some rabbit hole of misinformation on this thread while I patiently try to explain biological facts to religious zealots who don't have a clue.

I will never need the ACA either but I am more than willing to help cover healthcare, food, and shelter for others through my taxes.

I'm not a "Trump supporter" per se, but I do agree with his disrupter role especially slowing down/derailing the globalist agenda here in America. So, I guess that makes me a "nationalist" I prefer Patriot. Better than the opposite, which is a globalist??

As you know, MAGA is a theme, a campaign slogan, something for those who hold certain TRADITIONAL American ideals/visions to rally around. MY points in recent history when America was it's great-EST from an optimism, growing view? Post WW2 1950s, 1980s under the Reagan years.

What I think Trump is referring to is when American companies were PRODUCING quality tangible goods, providing an elevated wage over much of our current service level jobs. He has stated many times he wants "America first". Would you prefer America second, third, last?

Regarding being OK with your taxes covering others' medical care: The government, especially the federal government is an inefficient distributor of funds. It would be much more productive, and probably be more satisfying to you, to donate to a local shelter or medical provider than sending it to a federal bureauracy. See, that would be of your own volition. What the socialists propose is CONFISCATING money from unwilling citizens who are producing and transferring to others.

When government intrudes on a market, prices go up. Housing, college, healthcare.

Damn, you certainly have the right wing cliches memorized. I was born in Jan. 1951 and I can tell you the 50’s were great if you were white so this being the MAGA wet dream years is no shocker. Let’s skip most of the B.S. in your post go to the interesting part about Trump and America first. When in hell did he or his family ever put America first? Certainly not in manufacturing or hiring. Their products are/were made exclusively overseas or in Mexico (The ones paying for the wall) and his daughter wife Ivanka recieved approval for five trademarks from China just this month. They are also well known for hiring undocumented workers. So just when did Trump or his family produce "quality tangible goods" in the US with American labor?

Oh pleaseeeeeeeeeeee....wah, wah, wah. Having been on the receiving end of one of those "loving fathers" I speak from experience when I tell you the fathers of which you speak, are the exception not the norm. They are RARE.

You're correct in one aspect though...I did sue for child support which, he evaded for 14 years. His $100.00 (yes one hundred dollars) a month child support payment quickly escalated to over $400.00 a month over the 14 years he didn't pay when the state went after him on the arrears. He also knew and had 9 months to figure out whether or not he was going to be a man or a mouse and do the right thing for our child. He could have done it willingly! He also chose not to be a part of her life and denied till the day he died (in 2016) that he had another daughter, in addition to the 2 he actually claimed. It's ok though, he paid for the privilege. He had rights which I approved and he was awarded through the courts and could have exercised them at any time. He never did.

I am not the person you want to try and pull a sob story over on about the poor fathers who have no rights. There is a process for determination in the courts and the process is brutal, time consuming and emotionally exhausting made worse by an uncooperative parent. Someone has to be the adult and most times it is the mother!
