I can think of a good reason for him to quit right now. If he is reelected, there could easily be another impeachment. It could be carried out much more methodically and thoroughly. If he's removed from office, then no more Secret Service protection for him. With all of his dealings with Russia, that could be a major cause for concern.

It now makes more sense then ever that he probably did not want to win in 2016. His whole campaign was just a way to build his brand to try to rake in money to make up for all that he had lost in failed business ventures. For the last four years he's been doing that, and the presidency is just some sort of moonlighting job. He's been doing double duty. I agree. Back during the campaign I believe I posted he did not really want to win he just loves the press and attention which, as you stated, would help build his brand. Looking at the complete chaos in assembling his administration it was easy to see no one was more shocked at the win than trump. Once in though he has become addicted to the power, but sadly not for the good it can accomplish. Anyone who pulls from has ass on a daily basis as many lies as trump can only be up to no good.
 
He is Russia's golden ticket. Putin's useful idiot butt boy and money launderer.
Destroy the American government and follow the post USSR plan.
 
I think he is using the power of the office to make deals with anyone who will support him. He Is also using his supporters as a shield from his legal and economic reality. Maybe that is why he is seems so desperate to create his own reality. A reality that conservative Christians also need to justify their beliefs or fears. He has found refuge in politics.

I have to agree once again. His dumbass youngest son even once claimed that they get their money from Russia. Fear has to be why he always sides with Putin over his own country.
 
If Trump were applying for a government job, there is no way he'd be able to obtain a security clearance.
