I have noticed something about teenage girls tho, why do they always wear that awful, gothic black kohl eyeliner? They would be so much prettier w/o it!
Even my son and his guy friends say they hate it! I'm thinking it is a phase and hopefully they will outgrow it in a year or 2.

While I paid for a third of my first son's wedding, I paid for half of second son's wedding and ALL of third son's wedding (with the exception of the brides dress). The latter I did only because the bride's parent refused to help pay. They said they couldn't afford it, and I felt sorry for the kids. So I offered to pick up the tab. (Funny though - about two months after the wedding the bride's parents ended up suddenly out of their financial woes, because they purchased a new addition to their house, a new motorcycle and a new car
Anyway, my point is that with the ridiculous cost of weddings these days, it's unfair to ask the bride's parents to pick up the tab. Luckily in many cases, couples wait until they're older and established in their jobs and can pay for much of the wedding themselves.
